For Our City

I have written a couple of times in the past on one of the practical ways New City can impact our city (With and For Our City). If we are truly with and for our city, making a healthy economic impact is a "no brainer". After our tear down today, we headed next door to the Capitol Theater for lunch at the Off Broadway Deli. There were 9 families from New City either eating or waiting to order! New City was the talk of the deli. The workers were really excited to be full on Sunday at lunch and they worked feverishly to serve us. They were really hoping for some good tips - I am hoping they got some good tips! I really cannot describe the impact made as we chose to eat where we did. I talked a pretty good bit with the ladies as they made sandwiches and drinks - they were really happy to have us. There is no doubt, they know who New City Church is and if we keep it up, they will know that we are not only with them, but we are also for their good.
