It is Cherry Blossom Festival time in Macon. Last year we had some great friends from Birmingham visit for a few days during the festival - the Dollars - hey Dollars! We were all talking about the possibility of planting a church. Nothing had been said publicly and no real commitment had been made at that point. Still, in my heart I knew it was going to happen, and I believed it would happen downtown - at the Capitol Theater.
1 Year ago was my first visit to the Capitol Theater.
1 Year ago Jason and I laughed and joked about possible church names.
1 Year ago my family and I were talking but not certain we would even do this.
1 Year ago New City Church was just a stirring.
